Funding Restrictions

The following restrictions apply:

The Fidelity UK Foundation was established in 1988 to strengthen not-for-profit organisations primarily in regions surrounding Fidelity International's major corporate locations. Grants are not generally made to:

  • start-up, sectarian, or political organisations
  • private schools, and colleges or universities
  • individuals

Grants are not made for:

  • sponsorships or benefit events
  • scholarships
  • corporate memberships
  • advertising and promotional projects
  • exhibitions

Generally grants are not made for running costs, but may be considered on an individual basis through the Foundation's small grant scheme.

Grants will not normally cover the entire cost of a project.

Grants will not normally be awarded to an organisation in successive years.

The Foundation receives many more applications for grants than it is able to fund so not all applications that fall within the guidelines will receive grants.
